The Paper Art Exhibition

The Paper Art Exhibiton proudly presented by students from J05 and M06.

Venue : Whiteroom Gallery, Block C 1st Floor.
Date: 22/ 10 ~ 5/11
Time: 10 am to 5 pm

In this ‘Paper Project:, the students are invited to discover paper and its wealth of possibilities: the realm between two- and three-dimensional art in a new and inventive way. It has allow the students to explore the potential of a paper and also gives this historical material status of artistic creation.

The nature of paper does not just as a means of producing a subtleties art work but a work of art which can be use for reproduction.

National Youth Drawing Contest Result

恭喜来来自霹雳育才独中的邹训龙获得全国中学生绘画比赛冠军

邹训龙的作品无论是创意,技巧或整体表现都呈现得很好,因此他将获得一份新纪元学院美术与设计系基础课程的一年全免奖学金，RM500，价值RM100的奖品及证书。


亚军由来自亚罗士打吉华独中的黄柔获得，她的作品最让评审头疼，因为创意和绘画技巧都很好，只是留白太多，因此差点从前三名刷下来，不过最终这幅作品终于靠实力保住亚军的位子。她将获得RM300，价值RM100的奖品及证书。

由于参赛者的水平很高，这次比赛出现双季军

50 years... 全国中学生美术比赛

（加影6日讯）新纪元学院美术与设计系将配合马来西亚独立50周年，举办2007年第一届全国中学生绘画比赛。通过这项绘画比赛，希望让我国对绘画有兴趣的中学生可以一展所长。同时，推动及加深中学生对马来西亚的认识，并使各校融入马来西亚50周年国庆的喜悦之中。

本届的比赛主题为50 years。其中作品内容必须与马来西亚50周年国庆有关，可加入马来西亚的历史、现况、未来展望等元素。参赛者必须是Form 4至Form 5或高中一至高中三的在籍学生。

主办当局准备了丰厚的奖金及奖品，希望有兴趣的同学踊跃报名。有意报名参加或欲了解比赛详情的读者，可以拨电于彭晶玲（012-7955143）或郑秀云（012-7319855）询问。或到www.newera.edu.my查询。

吸引了来自各州的64位中学生报名参与此活动
本营也邀请了来自台湾的施纯协教授来为营员们传授易经的知识
营员们在这次的营中都发挥了本身的才华与潜力去完成每一项课程
课程包括轻轻松松学易经, 陶艺, 丝印, batik, 鞋子涂鸦, 标志设计
在3天的活动中，营员们不仅学到了更多的美术知识彼此也累积了难得的友情
